We had a great experience at Casa Oasis. The hosts were very accommodating to any needs we had. The tours were great and very affordable, showing you the true Mexico, not the tourist trap hotspots. Casa Oasis lives up to its name. The grounds are filled with tropical plants and flowers. We were there during the dry season, but there were beautiful flowering plants and tropical green plants everywhere. If you want to see the real Mexico, go to Casa Oasis!

A magical retreat. A perfectly humble home befitting to the humble village of Los Cedros it sits above.
Mark was a stupendous host. I didn’t book long enough to see everything I would’ve liked to seen but Mark listened attentively to my needs and showed me things specific my addressing them.
His fur family was the added charm that made my short stay magical

Just cannot say enough about the amazing time I had here at Casa Oasis. Robert and Mark are incredible host. The little country town of Cedros with the beautiful mountain views all around you, the gardens right outside your room with humming birds galore, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated accomadations, their willingness to go out of their way to make you feel at home and most importantly their kind hearts, warm hospitality and friendship made my time here unforgettalbe. These guys truly have created at Casa Oasis - a very special place to relax and explore the surronding areas of Lake Chapala. thank you Marc and Robert. Sincerely, Tim

I loved this place so much I extended my stay to drink in more of the great restful energy. The rooms are quite spacious with attached kitchen and bath. There are lush outdoor areas to sit and enjoy nature and fresh air. The gardens are a wonder. I found new cool plants every time I strolled through. And then there are the hosts, they put this place over the top with their good humor and hospitality. I can't wait to go back. I feel like I stumbled onto a hidden treasure.

I have been here several weeks & am enjoying it very much. It's so beautiful & quiet. Robert & Mark are great hosts & also great cooks. I'm beginning to feel like I'm on a cruise, & having to back away from so much food for a few days. I came here (after being near Jocotopec a year), to find a long-term apartment in the area, & was able to do that, effective next month. I will miss these guys, but will be close enough to come back for dinner!! If you are in the Lake Chapala area you must come '& stay a few days.

We stayed at Casa Oasis in Los Cedros from May 22 to June 12, 2021. As we were moving from the USA to the Lakeside area, we didn't want to be 'downtown' right away and really enjoyed our time in the authentic Mexican village of Los Cedros. Robert met us at the Guadalajara airport and the next day took us to rent a car. We wanted to be able to both look for a house and explore the area, however, a car isn't needed as it's is a short 'cab' ride to the highway bus stop to catch a bus to town. Mark and Robert also will invite guests to join them when they plan visits to town and/or to go shopping.
Casa Oasis was simply beautiful and lived up to its namesake. It is truly an OASIS of lovely landscaping, murals, amazing native artwork, comfortable accommodations and attentive, friendly hospitality. Mark and Robert went out of their way on many occasions and were very knowledgeable about the area and Mexican customs. We had many meals with our hosts and the food was always wonderful. Roberts Swedish pancakes are "the bomb." Best ever. Make sure to request them for breakfast.
Our Casita (number 2) was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and well equipped. And the few additional amenities we requested were always quickly provided. Morning and evening beverages in the gazebo for sunrise and sunsets were magical.
Now that we're living in Ajijic, we are overwhelmingly convinced that staying at Casa Oasis was the right choice for us. Thank you Mark and Robert for taking such good care of us in your amazing B&B! We wish you continued success!

We spent the month of March 2020 at the B&B. The hosts, Robert and Mark, couldn't have been more accommodating. They recommended shopping, sightseeing, and walking tours and provided transportation to do these excursions! The accommodations exceeded what the pictures represented. We experienced the small village atmosphere and the friendliness of the true Mexican locals. We are planning a return for February and March (pending Covid travel restrictions).

"Just spent a wonderful getaway weekend at Casa Oasis in Cedros (Jalisco) about 15-20 minutes outside of Lakeside. This break was very much needed. Mark and Robert are hosts extraordinaire! Breakfast was always wonderful. The hikes and walks into the mountains surrounding Oasis were amazing. The views incredible. It was clear enough to see two mountain ranges, Tonala, and Guadalajara. There are restaurants all up and down the highway, as well as, nearby Ixthluacan for your lunches and dinner. If you want to just have a walking/hiking weekend in the hills this is the place to be. The little town is fully Mexico and is not tourista at all. This was intended as peaceful, do as I please weekend and that was accomplished. Thank you so much to Mark and Robert!"
